Telstar's in-house test press can add even more engineering, manufacturing and installation efficiencies to our CAD-To-GO service with pre-delivery planning. Test press time can also be reserved to determine how specific materials from substrates and laminates, films and foils, inks and adhesives, and more will perform on your demanding jobs.
While CAD-To-GO certainly assists installation it also provides both Telstar and the customer with an engineering archive for future growth of the press possibilities. Telstar's experience with virtually every major (and some little known) press brands and models is augmented with the proprietary knowledge of your existing press and shop layout. This allows us to develop such unique situations where presses are stretched, rails and bridges are created and offline installations are created to fit retrofits into your business growth plans. This bank of information comes in handy when future plans call for added options that can be accommodated. We work to design every machine for fast installation in as little as four hours. And, we work to create situations where the new units can move station-to-station and even for press-to-press portability, often without sacrificing a print station.
This 30 year old veteran press needed a shingle conveyor to process several million die-cut parts. Telstar’s Cad-to Go on-site engineering allowed for designing an upper conveyor unit that was driven from the press anvil and attached through existing tapped holes. Installation was bolt-on and go. The lower shingle conveyor features a counter with a spike action upon reaching a pre-determined count for batching the product.
