Re-Configured as a Converting Press

This Mark Andy 16" press sequence was altered to allow a secondary rewind to be positioned between the rewind and die station. A pre-printed pressure sensitive web was introduced from the standard unwind; de-laminated with the liner being re-wound, the PS is then laminated to an absorbent pad material. The rotary die station was upgraded with Telstar’s independent servo drive and auto register system. The cut pads were drawn fro the die and shingled on an eight-foot variable speed conveyor.
