COLD-FOILING EQUIPMENT
FOR MA4150 RAILS

Through-cure cold-foiling with multiple sequencing options is quick and easy with Telstar’s equipment package designed specifically for the Mark Andy 4150 series of presses. The independent Unwind / Rewind Unit attaches to a modified carriage assembly. The unwind spindle is available with either a 1 or 3” diameter airshaft. Unwind tension is controlled through a pneumatic brake with Teflon pads allowing or precise tension control, even on narrow ribbons. The 3” diameter rewind airshaft is independently driven with a variable speed motor. Rewind tension is controlled through a pneumatic clutch.

A pneumatically operated nip roller easily attaches to the print station using existing tapped holes. A pressure gauge allows for setting and repeating the appropriate nip pressure, an important factor in cold-foiling.

Bridge style mounts are available for non-rail and other model presses.
